The permanent exhibition Commemoration of Janko Kráľ was prepared on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of this important Štúr poet. It provides a brief overview of his fate as a person, a poet and an active participant in the revolutionary years of 1848/1849.
The exhibition is divided into three thematic areas:
- Janko Kráľ’s family life
- The work of Janko Kráľ
- Commemorative events for Janko Kráľ in Zlaté Moravce.
The aim of the exhibition is to commemorate the life and work of the important Štúr poet, who went down in history as the most revolutionary personality of the Štúr generation. His work grew out of a deep relationship with the nation and was strongly influenced by poetry, especially ballads.
