The exhibition presents the way of folk housing and peasant farming in southwestern Slovakia. The exhibited objects come from the collection of the museum in Galanta and represent the following localities: Šaľa, Diakovce, Kráľová nad Váhom, and Dlhá nad Váhom. In 2008, the national cultural monument was transferred to the administration of the Nitra regional museum in Nitra.

The district folk history museum in Zlaté Moravce was founded on October 11, 1947. Its main task was to save art-historical and natural history monuments in the territory of then districts of Zlaté Moravce and Vráble. In its collection fund, the museum manages 4,283 collection items from the fields of geology, paleontology, archaeology, history, numismatics and ethnography, which come directly from Zlaté Moravice or the surrounding area.
